Pitch black was all I could see
around me; It was all I’d ever seen.
You brought me in this light,
away from the darkness.
All this goodness, it overwhelms me.
It’s too dazzling, I want to cower away.
You brought me in this world so blazing.
How am I supposed to handle this?
You said that you’ll bring me the light,
but you never warned me of the intensity of it.
So I return back to the darkness
which welcomes me back like I never left.
And all turns back to as it was,
before we laid our eyes on each other.
You’re lost in your light now,
just how you always were.
I’m losing myself now to the
darkness; Never to return.

It’s like birth, a totally new experience and it something that can’t be thrusted on someone who is used to living a certain way, and one who is one with that person should understand that. Someone from the light must visit and dwell in the dark to understand it, only then can they shed some light on the subject. If they can’t do that, they’ll always be in the dark while standing in the light. This was beautiful, just a symbolization that darkness is misunderstood. Wonderful piece.🌹🌹
