Love till Infinity

 

Forever is not

long enough for me

when I spend it with

you by my side.

 

There’s no time span

that’ll ever be long enough

for me, when I’m with you,

not even forever.

 

Promises, so many people make

to each other while they’re together.

Their lives full of promises

they never mean to keep.

 

“Till death do us part”

so many people promise

this to each other

without even meaning it.

 

I don’t want to be just

another one of them.

I want our promises to be true,

not meaningless like theirs.

 

Promise me that you’ll mean

every promise that you make

to me; that you’ll stay true to me

even when no one else is.

 

I promise you, swearing

on the breath that I take,

I will love you

till the infinity.
