Morning Dew

 

Today is one of those days when I feel

 like it’s better to not exist.

With tearful eyes and a heavy heart,

I call you. Your caller tune itself

gives my heart some peace.

Desperate to hear your voice,

I wait for you to pick up the phone.

Your voice is like a soothing lullaby

which puts my mind at rest.

You’re as pure and innocent as the

fresh dew at dawn, beautiful.

You never fail in making me smile,

even when all I want is to not exist at all.

You’re my beautiful little Angel,

who brings me hope

even in the darkest of times.

You’re my that sister who’s ever ready

to fight the whole world, just for me.

You’re the one with the most crazy ideas,

with the most eccentric dreams.

And sometimes, your craziness is all

that I need to keep going on.
