Wishing for moments

Remember that day when you hugged me for the very first time?

I kept on wishing for the time to stop in that moment,

and for you to never let me go.

Remember the first time we stayed up all night just to talk to each other?

I was already exhausted and my eyes were droopy,

but I didn’t want to risk losing that moment with you.

Remember when I told you that I relate most to Bluntschli ’cause he’s a romantic?

I was so ecstatic when I saw your eyes light up with genuine interest

in everything and anything that I was going to say.

Remember when I told you that I wished something from a shooting star?

I wished for something to cherish after we leave our sweet little bubble,

I wished for moments with you before you leave.
