From Suffocation to Contentment

Suffocating it was,

to not be able to say

what I really wanted you to know.

Maddening it was,

to keep pretending

to be okay with everything.

Relieved I am,

when on the second day,

I told you that I need time.

Content I am,

now that you know,

exactly what I want and need.

P.S.-

That’s the exact feelings that follow claustrophobia lovely, enclosed spaces. And that’s what is happening when certain feelings are being suppressed, they are being enclosed and it gets you to the point to where your heart feels trapped. Four walls closing in, the more you breathe the less air you get and sharing air when it’s meant for you runs short when you’re sitting at a table for two. But, when you finally free the words that’s been binding you down and cutting your vocabulary lungs short, you do become content and then you become more comfortable. Expression is strength and a beautiful heart is power. You are way past contentment lovely♥️, you’re heart and soul and that’s beautiful.🌹
