My Answers to the 11 Questions!

Q1) If you could describe yourself in one sentence, what would it be? (pst… please forget your modesty for once)

I’m real and genuine, who just can’t pretend to like someone that I actually don’t.

Q2) In the end we all are reduced to a memory in other peoples’ minds & hearts, how do you want to be remembered? What’s the legacy you want people to associate you with?

I want to be remembered as someone who was kind and real.

Q3) An embarrassing memory that occasionally still makes you smile?

When I was 7, I used to have trouble memorizing lessons. My brother tried to play a prank on me, and he told me that our minds are like CPUs of a computer. There’s an invisible button on the side of our head, which we can press and the CD slot will come out. We have to put the invisible CD in that slot, and everything that we read will start playing in our mind like a movie. I tried this during a class test, and yet, I couldn’t remember anything. I started crying, thinking that something’s wrong with my mind.

Q4) What’s the happiest moment of your life that you cherish the most?

I was 4 when I was playing in the garden with my brother and my cousins. An ant bit me on my toe. I sat there and cried. My brother and my cousins searched for that ant in the whole garden and after almost 15 minutes, they brought the ant in front of me and killed it. In that moment, I felt like as long as I have my brothers, there’s nothing in the world that can ever hurt me.

Q5) What is your most favorite movie/ web-series? (It’s the weekend after all, I need some options for my entertainment)

I don’t really have favorites. It depends on my mood. But right now, I’d like to just sit back and binge watch Harry Potter series.

Q6) What is that something that provides peace to you?

Aestheticism, romanticism, trying to see beauty even in the darkest of things. And when all else fails, a cup of coffee with some background music and a beautiful view, does just the trick.

Q7) How are you surviving from the boredom being imprisoned in your home because of the virus outbreak?

I’m spending more time on myself and on my hobbies. I’m exploring myself and reading all the books that I normally don’t have enough time to read. I’m trying to learn how to cook (still no luck here!).

Q8) How old is your blog & what is it’s origin story?

My blog is 2 years old. I wanted readers and my cousin suggested that I should make a blog… and here I am!

Q9) How do you recover yourself from a bad day?

I talk to my friends. An hour long pointless conversation is sometimes, all the therapy that I need.

Q10) A thought/quote you strongly live by & why?

“Write drunk, edit sober” -Hemingway.

I prefer writing when I’m drunk on my feelings (not drunk on alcohol, duh). And I edit the next day, when I can think straight, with an unbiased mind.

Q11) Any areas of improvements/feedback that you may have for me as a blogger/friend/poet?

Just keep writing! I love how you interact with your readers.
