You don’t love me
and that’s okay.
I didn’t expect you to.
Somewhere deep inside,
I always knew that I
wasn’t capable of your love.
It just hurts,
knowing that I
never had you.
You were never
mine to lose.
But it’s okay.
It’s okay if you’re
not mine; ’cause I am yours,
always will be.

To not be corresponded in love
makes us vulnerable, hurts a lot
feeling Ok comes from a realization
not everything is meant to be
at least is what we’ve been taught
knowing this gives us strength
to deal with any kind of frustration
Being Ok in spite of not being loved
means you have accepted this
it means that you can grow wiser
outside of all kinds of negation.

“Never mines to lose” is such an emotionally powerful phrase lovely because it’s like gambling with house money. It’s like knowing you’re strong enough to accept the love is in reach but not in grasp but if you get ahold of it, you’ve won and with the way the heart works any scernerio seems like a content one that can lead to happiness. Never and lose in the same sentence is always a win. One as wonderful with a beautiful heart is always meant for love from an equally beautiful heart.❤️
