I felt you

I was walking down a lane

the other day,

similar to the one where I

was with you.

All the memories came crashing

down on me,

and I swear, I felt you there,

with me.

I could actually feel your hands

in mine,

I could actually hear you

speaking to me.

I know that you’re gone

and I don’t expect you to return.

But I still sometimes, feel

like you’re with me.

P.S.-

Although you can pour the contents from a container lovely, the essence can sometimes never be emptied. An echo will never fade in an isolated hallway just like a breeze will always blow if you run though the wind isn’t even present. Our mind is a powerful tool and it works with reality to make things true, so what you feel is real. And anyone who isn’t feeling it for you is a liar for hire. But in time, feelings get filled with not essence, but emotions that are soon given to someone who has felt you all along.🌹
A wonderful piece of writing lovely.
