Why am I always labelled as the bad person?
Sometimes to cover up someone else’s mistake.
Sometimes when I only mean well.
Every time I think I’m good,
life knocks me down,
treats me like a joke.
Heart too heavy with guilt,
vision blurred by tears,
fingers trembling with pain.
Why am I never enough?
Calculating, selfish, insane,
that’s all everyone thinks I am.
I’ve been blocked,
been ignored and yet,
I kept trying.
No matter what I do,
or how hard I try,
I’m always the bad person.
Too tired to think anything.
Too numb to feel,
Too empty…
P.S.-
Do you ever feel like you’re being blamed for something which isn’t your fault? Have you ever had a feeling overwhelm you to the point where you want to lock yourself in a room and disappear? Have you ever felt like no matter how much you try to be nice to everyone, they’ll only blame you at the end? Share below!
You ever hear about people complaining how hot it is, and then when winter comes around they complain about how cold it is? You can’t please everyone lovely, and no matter how much you do…some people always want to see a hero fail. People are quick to judge others because they don’t want to be judged. How do you eliminate beauty in a room, kill the lights. But you shine lovely. Is dark magic dark? Or is it misunderstood, just like the term bad? We help others and when it doesn’t net them the results their selfish needs wanted, they label us the bad person. Superman saved ten people from a building but one got hurt, they’ll focus on that one person getting hurt. If the news reported nothing but good news, no one would watch it.😉
I’ve been this person lovely but I don’t call it the Bad Person, I call it a person with a heart❤️. And people who label me don’t bother me because people like you keep me going😉. Smile when people eat peanut butter and jealousy sandwiches all day, that means you’re doing right. And for the record, when people say something is “bad ass”, that’s usually a good thing where I come from!😏

But what do you do when the people who’re blaming you are actually the people who matter to you the most?

If something is missing from your home, you usually check the people you gave a key to first. That means the ones who are close to you feel obligated the most to hurt you because you’ll forgive them quicker than normal. To have a heart, you must be human and you are very human lovely so people matter, but they should know they shouldn’t be blaming you if you mattered that much to them. They are misunderstood if they are blaming you and if they are talking behind your back, there’s a reason they are in back of you…because you deserve people who understand you, not ones who under estimate you.
Like I said, you can’t please everyone and no one can blame you for that. No matter how hard you push the envelope, it’ll still be stationary.😉

May I suggest a strategy, Sonali? That’s a tough situation, I think, because we usually can’t change such people and we don’t want to leave them. The only thing that has worked for me is to find a friend — if I don’t already have one — who accepts and supports me, and who is or can become close enough to me to make a difference. It is hard to do, I know. But it has worked for me in the past. One good friend can be enough, if they are a good enough friend.

That’s a good one. And I think I have those type of friends. It’s just that I don’t want to worry them or anyone else.

Last time I was around someone who routinely blamed me for things I didn’t do, I was in a marriage to an abusive woman. Had to get out — you can’t change an abuser.

I’m really sorry to hear that Paul. Wish you well.
And you’re right, you can’t change an abuser.

I’ve felt like this a lot in my life. Sometimes it’s easy for weak people to blame others for their own faults. No one wants to take responsibility. It’s funny that I find myself taking the blame in situations that no one is really at fault. I do it to help others feel ok.:/ at my own detriment. So how do we stop this? We grow our confidence and we don’t allow this time happen anymore. You are a beautiful person and you have such wonderful outlook. There is so much wise and kindness in you! Turn the blame target into a rubber wall! You have done nothing wrong! Big hugs my friend! I hope this helps from a person that feels exactly the same.
