Scars

on

That cut that runs along

my wrist; it has a story

to tell.

That mark that I have on

my waist; it has a history

that scares me.

That blemish that covers

my collarbone; it makes

my soul cold.

And all the scars on

my body, refuse to fade

just like those memories.

The faces of those monsters,

what they did to me,

still haunts me.

These scars never fail in

reminding me of the horror

behind them.

P.S.-

Sexual abuse is not something to be taken lightly. Almost everyone goes through sexual harassment at least once in their life. Spread awareness about what sexual abuse does to a victim’s mind and soul.

Sonali Sexual assault shout either be death or life with no parole ever they die in prison !! They get what they handed out to women, girls and boys. I have no tolerance for them at all any where in the world. Judges need to take a hard stance when sentencing those sex assault guys and women. Death is what should be first choice to all real judges across the world.

I totally agree that they don’t deserve any mercy whatsoever. And these inhuman crimes will not stop unless strict actions are taken and nothing is strict enough for a crime like this, not even death.

Death does not get rid of the harm created and caused to these women and boys who get sexually assaulted. At least those perverts will never harm anyone ever again.

Of course it doesn’t. The death of those monsters cannot change what they did to those people. But at least, they won’t be able to do anything like that again to someone else.

Yes, they got what Karma had waiting for them. Harming others leads or should lead to something like this. The more ways people can find and let the leaders know them maybe things will cease that cause harm to others.

  3. I live with the physical and emotional scars from being sexually abused. I try my best not to think about it too often and get upset because if I do I believe I am then allowing those horrible people to still harm and control me.

  5. Another thoughtful piece that makes one think. Pain and bad memories linger and hurt much more than the scars that are left behind.
