Sleepless nights, wakeful days;
that’s how all my days were.
Years passed by, still no cure;
Slowly, I learned to live like this.
You walked in, the source of my comfort;
who gives my restless mind some peace.
Your thoughts fill my lonely nights;
so did our late night conversations.
Your voice, oh so soothing;
it puts me right at comfort.
You stay awake with me all night;
you leave behind your sleep.
Your voice is music to my ears;
the best lullaby I’ve ever heard.
Slowly, I drift to the land of dreams;
it’s been a while since I visited here.
I wake up, with a smile on my face;
Never did I sleep so peacefully in years.
You ‘re the cure I’ve been looking for;
You’re the cure to my insomnia.
