first opened my eyes;

who never stops bragging

who laughs at my stupid jokes,

pushes me to be better

when all I want is to give up.

when I fall down; and sometimes,

only to help me rise higher.

 

I still hate you though

for not listening to me

when I say what you should

or shouldn’t do.

 

I love our fights,

the way we annoy Mom,

the way we prank everyone,

together, you and me.

 

I’m sorry for all the times

when I get stubborn

and don’t listen to anyone,

but hey, I get that from you.

 

You taught me how to

be confident of myself.

You make me see the light

even in the dark.

 

You fought against all odds,

faced so many challenges

and always won all of them,

like a hero which you are.

 

You’re the first man that

I fell in love with.
