You’re mine; I’m yours

There I was,

broken,

all alone.

There you were,

lost in your

perfect life.

I saw only a broken girl

beyond repair.

You saw a beautiful girl,

made even more so by her scars.

You found me,

healed me.

You made all

my pain flea.

You’re the antidote

to my pain;

the breath of fresh air

to all my gloominess.

There’s nothing I want more

than to be called yours.

It was then that you said,

“You’re mine and I’m yours.”

Lovely. The tick to the tock that gets the heart clock to start. Two hearts thumping, and beautiful words is all it takes.🌹🌹
