Victim of Your Love

 

I didn’t know this, but a friend (by a friend, I mean, a really great friend) of mine turned out to be a really amazing poet and I’m absolutely in love with what he wrote. And those verses that he wrote, are simply too beautiful to not share.

 

Original verse-

Ma sirf rho ga tera,

ya vada ha mera.

To mang le pyar,

ya haq ha tera.

 

My Translation-

I’ll always be yours;

That’s my promise to you.

So ask for my love;

It’s your authority.

 

Original verse-

Tum teer chodoge to Dil ka paar ho jae ga,

mera dil tere ishk ka shikar ho jayega .

Tum kosis KR ka to dekho.

Ya vada ha mera tumha bhi mujhsa pyar ho jae ga.

 

Translation-

You’ll release the arrow; it’ll cross through my heart,

My heart will become your victim.

Just try and see;

I swear you’ll fall in love with me.
