Don’t love me, for I might not return your love.
Don’t hate me, for I might not return your hatred.
Don’t pity me, for I might be content with what I have.
Don’t ask me, for I might not have the answer you seek.
Don’t answer me, for I might not need one.
Don’t try to fool me, for I might be a fool already.
Don’t appreciate me, for I might not be worthy of it.
Don’t depreciate me, for I might not be that low as you think of me.
Don’t think of me as strong, for I might be about to give up…
P.S.-
I’m not really much of a poet. I write poems only when I’m utterly and terribly depressed by something, and this is one of those times when I just want to shut the whole world out…

Why not write poems when you’re not depressed? Or are you always depressed? Depression can be seen as a sign of a creative mind.

That is me. I believe there’s more goodness in others than we usually see. Because we miss seeing it we miss much of the joy of living. We can never appreciate anyone enough. And often for lack of appreciation and encouragement very nice people lose their niceness and tend to be seen as if they weren’t nice.
